How to keep the heart-fire burning through the long, dark winter.

THE WILD FEMININE SOUL DOES NOT FEAR THE DARKNESS, FOR SHE KNOWS IT IS WHERE HER MEDICINE IS HELD.

Dear Reader,

As the collective moves through this chaotic and dangerous darkness,

It is natural to feel heartbroken and overwhelmed;

It is natural to feel unmoored and stagnant;

It is natural to have thoughts that flood you with doubt and fear. 

These emotions come from your most loyal, wild & instinctual Protector Parts. 

Some Parts come in hot and fast, with impulsive solutions to distract and numb us from the pain. 

Some Parts have us reaching for the Dooms Day Preparation Checklist to create a sense of order and control from the mess we see outside.

If addictions you thought you kicked, or relational patterns you thought you shed, seem to be surfacing again, please know you are not “failing” at healing. 

You are simply recognizing some of your most loyal Protector Parts trying to help you through this highly volatile and dark winter.

BUT/AND/ALSO

You are no longer that version of you that needs “saving." 

You are not a victim. You are stepping out of that role and into your power. 

You have grown.

You have expanded.

Your capacity to hold opposing truths is being challenged right now, this is true.

-AND-

Your Soul Energy can hold it all!!

Here are some prompts that are helping my internal Parts to reconnect and settle into the leadership of my Soul Energy.

1. What becomes possible when I trust that, in my stillness, I am growing?

2. In the darkness, where do I presently feel glimmers of hope and potentiality?

3. What needs to happen for me to nourish this hope?

These hopes/desires can be tangible, emotional, social, spiritual, and interpersonal. 

Open your heart and let them pour forth.

Be relentlessly devoted to your Hope. 

Write it on a post-it note and place it somewhere you will see it often. 

Speak it aloud in compassionate spaces.

Connect with other soul-lead women learning to listen for Truth through the static and fear-mongering.

Let the energy of heart-centered, generous, ethical, relentless hope for organic life thaw you into the Spring with determination, direction, and purpose.
